Oatco Superfuel Takes to the Skies with New Aer Lingus

We're excited to share one of our biggest milestones yet, Oatco Superfuel is now officially onboard all Aer Lingus flights.

Our much loved Caramelised Biscuit Super Bites are now available for passengers to enjoy across the Aer Lingus network, bringing our signature slow release, natural energy to thousands of travellers every day.

For us, this isn't just another listing. It's the achievement of one of our biggest goals for 2026 and a huge step forward in making Oatco products more accessible through one of Ireland's leading international airlines.

From a Personal Frustration to an International Airline

Oatco Superfuel was founded in 2024 by Laura Murphy after struggling to find snacks that genuinely supported a busy lifestyle. As a mum of two and entrepreneur, Laura found herself choosing between sugary snacks that led to energy crashes or protein bars that lacked great taste.

Determined to create something better, she developed Oatco Superfuel, delicious snacks powered by oats, designed to deliver long lasting natural energy while also being a great source of fibre.

Just two years later, Oatco has become one of the UK's fastest growing functional food brands, with Super Bites now stocked in over 1,500 locations across the UK and Ireland, alongside a rapidly growing online community.

A Proud Moment for the Team

Founder Laura Murphy said:

"Having Oatco onboard every Aer Lingus flight is one of our proudest moments as a team. It's been one of our biggest goals for 2026, and it's a true reflection of how far we've come in just two years.

I started Oatco because I couldn't find a snack that kept up with a busy lifestyle—something that delivered natural, long-lasting energy without compromising on taste. To now see our Super Bites being enjoyed by passengers onboard Aer Lingus is an incredible milestone."

Building Momentum

The Aer Lingus partnership follows an incredible year of growth for Oatco.

Earlier this year, Laura Murphy was named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, recognising some of the region's most exciting young entrepreneurs. Oatco also gained national attention following its appearance on BBC One's Dragons' Den, where Laura received offers from three Dragons before accepting an investment from entrepreneur and Diary of a CEO host Steven Bartlett.

What's Next?

From retail stores, cafés, gyms and workplaces to now flying with one of Ireland's leading airlines, Oatco Superfuel continues to grow its mission of fuelling busy lives with natural, long-lasting energy.

Seeing our Super Bites onboard Aer Lingus is a proud reminder of how far we've come and we're only just getting started.

Whether you're heading away on holiday, travelling for work, or returning home, keep an eye out for our Caramelised Biscuit Super Bites the next time you fly with Aer Lingus. We can't wait for you to give them a try.
